**** NORTHSIDE HOSPITAL - ATLANTA AUXILIARY****

• Teens must have turned 14 in the previous year and be no older than 18 years of age.

• Volunteen must work a minimum of one 3-4 hour shift per week, typically Monday-Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  

    

• Volunteen is expected to report promptly to his or her service on the assigned day and time. 

• Appropriate uniform must be worn at all times.  Uniforms will be discussed at the interview and orientation.

• All new teens should obtain an application from their guidance counselor after February 10, 2010.                   

• Returning teens will receive an invitation/applicaton letter.

• If the school guidance counselor does not have an application, one may be obtained by calling the Auxiliary Office (404-851-8707).

• New teens must have a personal interview at Northside Hospital-Atlanta.  A parent/guardian must attend.

• Volunteen must attend a mandatory Orientation session. Attendance is required for participation in this program.

•  Two skin tests for Tuberculosis will be required before work begins. Tests must be read 48-72 hours after this test is administered.

IMPORTANT:  This information only applies to Northside Hospital-Atlanta. We have limited positions available in Alpharetta but they are not in a hospital setting.
